Information you provide directly
We may collect information you provide when you create an account, use the resume or cover letter builder, contact support, purchase a paid plan, or submit information through forms.
This may include your name, email address, account details, resume and cover letter content, uploaded content, and support messages.
Information collected automatically
When you use DashResume, we may automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, and general usage or diagnostic data.
Authentication and session data
DashResume uses Clerk for authentication and account session management. This may involve cookies and related technologies needed to support sign-in, sign-up, and secure session handling.
Payment and billing data
Paid transactions are processed by Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases on DashResume. We may receive limited billing-related information such as subscription status, plan type, renewal or cancellation state, transaction identifiers, and similar account-level billing information. We do not store full payment card details on DashResume.

We use personal information to provide and operate DashResume, create and manage user accounts, save and display your resumes and cover letters, process subscriptions and manage account access, provide support, improve product features and usability, detect fraud, abuse, or security issues, and comply with legal obligations.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate DashResume, including Clerk for authentication and session management, Creem for payments, subscriptions, billing administration, and related compliance processes, and other hosting, infrastructure, analytics, support, and security vendors as needed.

12. Chrome Extension Privacy
The DashResume Chrome extension reads the resume PDF currently opened by the user in Chrome only when the user activates the extension to request a score. The content is used solely to generate ATS-style scoring and feedback for that resume. The extension does not sell this data or use it for unrelated advertising purposes.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
