Welcome to DashResume. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DashResume website, web app, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using DashResume, you agree to these Terms.
1. About DashResume
DashResume is an online resume and cover letter builder that allows users to create, edit, save, manage, and export application documents.
DashResume offers both free and paid features. Free and paid features may change from time to time as the product evolves.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use DashResume on your own. If you are under that age, you may only use the Service with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable law.
3. Accounts
You may need to create an account to use some features of DashResume.
You agree to provide accurate and current information, keep your login credentials secure, and remain responsible for activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
4. Free and Paid Features
DashResume may offer a free plan and one or more paid plans.
Free features may include limited document creation, editing, storage, or export functionality. Paid plans may include additional saved documents, premium templates, enhanced features, or other benefits described on the pricing page.
We may update features, pricing, plan names, or plan limits from time to time. Any changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
5. Billing and Payments
Payments for paid features are processed through Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases made through DashResume. This means Creem is responsible for payment processing, tax handling, and related billing administration for those transactions.
By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize the applicable charges and any recurring charges associated with your selected subscription unless and until you cancel.
Pricing, billing intervals, and plan details are shown at checkout or on the relevant pricing page.
6. Renewals, Cancellation, and Refunds
If you purchase a recurring subscription, it may renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal or your account area, where available.
Because payments are processed by Creem as Merchant of Record, refund requests and billing disputes may be handled through Creem’s billing systems and policies, together with any support process we make available.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of the information and content you enter into DashResume, including resume text, cover letters, and uploaded content (“User Content”).
You grant DashResume a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, store, and display your User Content only as needed to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the right to use any content you upload or submit.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use DashResume for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes, upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Service, access accounts or data without authorization, reverse engineer or interfere with the Service except as allowed by law, or use the Service to create illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep DashResume available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, including for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product improvements.
10. Intellectual Property
DashResume, including its branding, software, design elements, templates, and site content, is owned by or licensed to DashResume and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of DashResume intellectual property to you.
11. Privacy
Your use of DashResume is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
12. Disclaimers
DashResume is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that use of DashResume will result in interviews, job offers, or employment. Resume quality and hiring outcomes depend on many factors beyond the Service.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DashResume will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, business opportunities, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DashResume’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount paid, if any, by you to DashResume through Creem during the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Termination
You may stop using DashResume at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or where required for legal or security reasons.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections on billing obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of DashResume after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
